We are not born the same. Some people come here to receive results of their merits. Others come here to suffer the consequences of unwholesome kamma. Let us save ourselves instead.
Don’t go looking at other people, seeing whether they have more merit or bad kamma. Good or bad, that is that person’s affair. It has nothing to do with us. Just take a look at our own lives. Some days pass smoothly, other days don’t go well at all.
Nobody can help us at all, well except ourselves. We grow older with each day. Time is running out. We must quickly build our own strength and energy so that we can adjust the spiritual landscape, depart from suffering, perfect our parami and support the Phra Buddha Sasana.
We must pray and continue to practice, in order to get ready when we depart this world. Building up our own strength quickly to get ready for death. Whatever happens, we will eventually face death.
Recollecting the Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha is simple but doing so is difficult.
