Luang Pu Hong Prompanyo
The closest disciples of Luang Pu Hong observe the 5 precepts and do not drink alcohol. Luang Pu Hong told them that when he is consecrating his sacred objects, he will charge them with full mental power.
Not only imbuing them with his mental potency, he will also invite the Phra Kruba Ajaans and hosts of devas to assist, together with Phra Mae Thoranee, Kru Pu Khao, Chao Bang Bot to guard whoever who is wearing Luang Pu’s amulets.
In particular, Luang Pu informed his disciples that in times of danger, these divine beings will intervene to save their lives, to the extent of entering into our bodies or covering us with their divine aura to give us power during accidents or emergency situations.
Therefore, they must not drink alcohol as people who drink alcohol will be offensive to the devas as their bodies will have a certain smell. And they do not like people who drink alcohol at home either.
Luang Pu Hong warned that those who break the 5th precept will deteriorate. He is not just referring to the power of his amulets, but also meant this in terms of virtue and merit of the heart.
