The Lord Buddha never told us [monks] to build any temple, uposatha hall, vihara or get involved in construction work, but to cultivate nibbana in our heart and to practice dhamma to the fullest.
Let the Dhamma be dominant!
Let the Dhamma be your main purpose!
The Lord Buddha practiced relinquishment so he was happy.
Do not be foolish!
If you relinquish, then you will develop yourself.
If you practice well, there's no need to worry that you will not have a shelter.
Those well-to-do lay people are watching.
If there is something in need to be offered, then they will offer.
Being a monk, you have to relinquish material objects and learn the meaning of sacrifice.
If not, the monastery will be untidy and dirty.
The monk has to sweep the monastery area 2 to 3 times a day.
If not, the monk commits an offence of wrong conduct.
The monk has to do sitting meditation and walking meditation,
otherwise he commits an offence of wrong conduct.
Some monks are so 'serious' in their practice
Staring at televisions and staring at mobile phones.
They are departing from Buddha's path.
Creating problems in the world instead.
Isn't that right?
