The Teaching of Ajahn Suchart.
Question: I read your books and listened to your talks and understand that you know a lot of things about what is happening in the world. How do you get such knowledge?
Than Ajahn: Well, you can search anything on internet. The internet is a big library. You can use internet for good purposes or bad purposes. The internet is like an instrument, like a knife. You can use a knife to make good things out of it or you can use it to kill people or kill yourself. So, it’s just a matter of whether you know how to use it or not. The internet is like a big library.
Whatever things you want to know, you just search for them and the search result will come up very quickly and there are plenty of information for you to choose.
Layperson: I listened to a lot of Dhamma talks from many teachers, and realized that the way they talked and understood things are so natural.
Than Ajahn: Because Dhamma is natural. The mind is natural. Right now, your mind is not natural because your mind is being deceived by your delusion, so you are not acting naturally.
After you’ve practiced, you will find that the way to be happy and peaceful without any stress or sadness is to be natural, to flow with nature.
Layperson: The word practise has been used too loosely by many people.
Than Ajahn: Practice means putting yourself into natural processes. Right now, we are out of the natural processes. We are in the artificial processes. We try to generate or create things, and this is what causes us to be unhappy because we cannot generate or create things all the time. And what we’ve created, somehow, they would all disappear afterwards. But if you can live with nature, live with the things that are happening, then you can be happy. You don’t have to create anything. You don’t have to do anything. You just flow with nature. Be with nature. Be with the present, whatever is happening now

Question: How can the Dhamma be that true and simple?
Than Ajahn: You have to practise it [the Dhamma]. Once you’ve practised it, everything is so simple.
Right now, your mind is being clouded by your delusion which makes everything so complicated. Once you can remove the veil of delusion from your mind, then everything will seem so simple because everything is natural phenomenon but we are trying to make it into a person, or a being when there is no such thing.
