Devotee: What are the uses of mental energy (psychic powers)?
LP Phut: This depends on our mental powers…If we have palang jit it is possible to bend and influence the minds of others.
But whatever the case, persons who have samadhi already, their words are often saksit (sacred), and able to influence the hearts of others.
Supposing if we are angry at someone, we should not curse or jinx them. But we should enter samadhi and pae metta to them a lot. After we have extended much loving-kindness to them, there will be two outcomes.
One possibility is that they will put aside their hatred and start treating us well. The second outcome is if they refuse to become good people, their life will decline on their own. We do not need to curse them for that to happen.
If we curse them, then we too are committing evil, and our virtue and morality will deteriorate.
