In line with our recent lesson on Ten Meritorious Deeds, I would like to encourage the students to practise what they have learned ; ( ie moving from Pariyatti to Patipatti ) :
1. Dana ( generosity )
2. Veyyavacca ( rendering service or helping the special needs, the Aged Sick & the under-priveleged )
Permission has been given to me to conduct a class this Wed 22 Aug 2018 ( Hari Raya Haji ) from 8 pm - 10 pm
at Metta Lodge as follows :
"An Introduction to Deaf Language in Malaysia".
The facilitator:
Ms Lee from Miri Deaf Association - A Certified Sign Interpreter.
This is to create awareness of the Deaf Community & how mainstream society has excluded them out by the mere fact that no one is keen to learn Signing to communicate with them.
The Session is FREE but students are highly encouraged to Dana towards the World's First Deaf Laughter Festival organised by Ms Lee & me on 1st & 2nd Dec. to train them in Leadership Skills...
At the end of the Session, students will be able to SIGN everyday Expression & FEELING words.
